Sunsets
Another summer sunset, each one different in its own way. Close up The clouds are mostly illuminated by transmitted rays from the sun which are depleted in blues and greens by the scattering of dust particles, aerosols and transient atmospheric density fluctuations. In contrast, we see the clear sky higher up by the light it scatters, blues and greens more strongly than reds. June 25th 2003 1/80s f/2.8 100 ISO equiv. 3x images each 75mm efl.
